Join rCBI for our club changeover and barefoot bowls!

On what will be a lovely Sunday afternoon, come along for our first major event since our charter. We invite everyone to join us - rCBI members, Rotarians, Rotaractors, friends and family.

-----

Why host a combine event?

Barefoot bowls was initially organised as a social event for rCBI members and friends. It was set to be a delightful afternoon, however poor weather conditions forced the event to be postponed.

We wanted to host our barefoot bowls event as soon as possible, but we knew that our club changeover was also nearing. At a club changeover, board members are recognised for being elected into their positions. Typically, this is a formal event, however wanted to host a changeover that reflect us and how we work. As such, we thought it was best to combine barefoot bowls and our changeover into one event.

-----

What can I expect?

When you arrive, you can expect a relaxed vibe where everyone is encouraged to play barefoot bowls. It's an easy sport that it perfectly matched with a few drinks and snacks - the bar and kitchen will happy to take orders.

Later in the afternoon, we will celebrate the election of the club's first-term board members. This is a special occasion to acknowledge responsibility to serve the club and the community.

The rCBI board will also take this opportunity to announce some exciting new changes to the club's membership offerings and meeting structure. We hope this will provide more flexibility to members and ensure every meeting is more engaging than ever.

-----

Why should come along?

rCBI hopes everyone will take this opportunity to re-connect after exams, holidays and work. Remember, rCBI also extends the invite to non-club members - we would love to meet you, show you what what we do and explain how we work.

If you want to make a positive impact in the community and make some friends, rCBI might be for you. Just know we value diversity and embrace anyone who is looking to build relationships with like-minded people.
