rCBI invites you to our monthly Homeless Food Drive.
The 2016 census reported over 5800 homeless people in Brisbane. Homeless people face a range of issues from health to diet, in addition to lack of shelter. Because of this, it is very important that homeless people receive as much support as possible.
To help the nutrition issue, the Rotary Club of Brisbane International (RCBI) have provided hot food to disadvantaged people in the Logan area. To make an even bigger impact, rCBI have partnered with the Rotary club to bring this hot food to another location, namely, Musgrave Park in West End.
With existing non-profit organisations such as Rosies (Friends on the Street) and Orange Sky, rCBI encourages everyone to distribute food and connect with homeless people in the area. What we have discovered through conversations, is that homeless people feel like they have lost their voice in society. Listening to vulnerable in our community lets us appreciate their hardships and builds genuine fellowship.

Time: 7:00pm - 7:30pm.
