Rotaract Club of Brisbane International invites you to join us at our LUNCHEON FOR BETTER MENTAL HEALTH.
There are 3 Million Australians living with depression or anxiety. The most alarming part is that more than half of those effected will not seek any treatment or support.
We want to help change that.
On Sunday October 14th, join us for a morning tea and lunch, as we share important information on mental health and mental ill-health in a warm, open and friendly environment. Our aim is to raise awareness and remove the stigma that surrounds mental ill-health.
You will also get the opportunity to participate in some fun and evidence-based activities to help maintain good mental health and well-being. We will have:
- Group Fitness Classes (hosted by Venus Fitness)
- Guided Meditation (hosted by local Psychologist, Krishneel Maharaj)
- Delicious and healthy morning tea and lunch
Most importantly, you will walk away with - a better understanding about mental health and mental ill-health, how to help loved ones with mental illness, and some ways you can maintain good mental health and well-being.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is plenty of street parking along Holdsworth Street, with the addition of any available parking within the Holdsworth Commerce Centre.
For public transport: it is a 10 minute walk to the Cooparoo Station on Cavendish Road and likewise it is a 10 minute walk to Langlands Park Busway Station.
