MS Moonlight Walk

6th October, 2018

A group of members from rCBI got together on an overcast afternoon on the 6th October 2018 at the beautiful Southbank Parklands ready for the MS Moonlight Walk. The walk took place around the scenic South Bank Parklands, along the Brisbane River, and across the Goodwill Bridge to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It was a beautiful night, with some light showers that only added to the passion of the walk.

The MS Moonlight Walk is an annual event, organised by MS Queensland, and couldn’t be more of a worthy cause. MS impacts so many families across Australia, and MS Queensland does the most incredible things for those affected, including:

  • Providing support/care

  • Offering information

  • Funding research for a cure

  • Raising awareness.

After the walk, the rCBI team all went out for dinner and drinks in South Bank, and got a chance to catch up and share their experiences of the walk. Shout out to all the members who made it out, it was a great night and the team looks forward to next year!
